We love research and believe that great ideas comes from other ideas, good or bad. Our constant thirst for new information allows us to quickly find relevant reference points in our concept and idea phase. Also, many ideas end up in our own private lab, Spotigram for instance.
Using collaborative sketches in the form of pen and paper, we chisel first versions of our ideas out. Using Invision, simple but effective wireframes allow us to try the ideas. And then we iterate. And iterate.
We strive to spend as little time as possible in the Adobe Suite. It is not that we do not cherish Dan. It just that we'd rather spend the design hours together with the developers and adjusting as we move forward.
As we iterate the low-fidelity version we tighten the knots by adding functionality, structure and putting all pieces together. The deliveries from this phase are fully functional and styled, yet static, parts of the final product.
